Angela Marshall is the CEO and Founder of Mrs. A. Marshall's Tutoring Services, LLC. She provides virtual reading tutoring services to children in grades PreK-3rd.
She started her business because she saw first-hand how many young children struggled with letter sounds, digraphs, vowel teams, blending letter sounds together, rhyming words, and so much more in reading. She was a classroom teacher, and seeing the reading struggles with young learners troubled her; She knew she had to do something.🔥
Her business goals for the rest of 2025 are to attract more potential clients/families who are in need of reading assistance. She would also love to sell her reading resources, such as her asynchronous PreK Reading & Language Arts Course.
Her customers are young children who are in grades PreK-3rd. She business meets their needs by providing tutoring services in this academic area, helping them achieve reading success. This is accomplished through consistent attendance in tutoring attendance.
The biggest obstacle to grow in her business right now, is consistently reaching serious inquiries/the right audience. She plan to overcome this obstacle by providing surveys that will capture the right audience.
Her introvert superpower is organization. Due to the need of constantly needing time to mentally (and physically) recharge, she is always thinking, organizing, and keeping everything up to date in her business. Ideas constantly run through her mind; She has to write them down or store them in her reminder notes app to keep up.
Her biggest accomplishment so far of her business would be how she had the pleasure to witness students go from being struggling readers to reading fluently! She had students that came to her with D's in reading, and after they've put in the work, they make A's! Another accomplishment would definitely be completing her PreK course. Her course has 44 week worth of lessons, supplies listed at the beginning of each week that parents will need, and so much more. She poured her heart into her course (and more are on the way for upper grades!), as she does in each of her tutoring sessions.
Angela is an Introvert who recharges alone and drain her social battery interacting.
